Pecan Crusted Salmon, Chicken, or “Popcorn” Amina Nuggets with Veggies – We marinate your choice of high-quality, clean and fresh protein overnight before breading them in an irresistible pecan based crust. For veggie version, we make special “popcorn chicken-eque” bites out of tofu, using the same marinade and breading. For your side, sauteed Brussels sprouts, Allergy: This dish contains pecans, obviously.Pour it on, pop it in, and pretend you worked hard to prepare it! (Choose Tofu, Salmon, or Chicken)
What the heck is an “amina” (uh-meen-uh)? It is a special mix of tofu, chickpeas, almonds, nutritional yeast, and seasonings formed into a meat replacement that boasts a complete amino acid profile, often missing in vegetarian/vegan diets. How do we know it is a good, clean product? Because we invented it and make it from scratch weekly right here at HealthSavor H.Q.!
Acorn Squash Bowl – Our signature dish. We carve out a baked acorn squash, and fill it with sauteed greens, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and herbs. Garnished with pecans and optional Cabot’s naturally lactose-free cheese. Scraping the bowl is encouraged. (Choose Veggie or Chicken, and Cheese or No Cheese)
Chicken, Shrimp, or Tofu with Veggies over Forbidden Rice and Grated Cauliflower – A mix of wild/black rice and grated cauliflower makes a bed for classic veggies like green beans, carrots, peppers, topped with your choice of protein. Comes with a side of garlic oil that will have enough sea salt to flavor the dish, without blowing the sodium through the roof. I mix some potassium powder in with my sea salt, too, to give you a better sodium/potassium ratio (very important) while still hitting the tongue the same way as a bunch of salt would. Every little bit adds up! (Choose Tofu, Chicken, Shrimp)
Amish Turkey and Spinach or Vegetarian Mushroom Meatloaf with Italian Veggie Medley – Amish Turkey, (Busch’s Country Corner, Findlay Mkt.) spinach, gluten-free bread crumbs, farm-fresh eggs (Milford, Ohio), nutritional yeast, shallots, OR vitamin D enriched Portobello mushrooms (Vegetarian Option Only) baked to a tender loaf. You get 6oz covered in our signature red-sauce (with kale, chia seed, and other super-foods added and pureed with the sauce) reduced to bring out almost a sun-dried flavor. (Choose Vegetarian-Mushroom or Turkey-Spinach, and Cheese or No Cheese)
Chicken or Quinoa Tortilla Soup – This is one of our favorite soups, with a unique smoky chipotle flavor and the one-of-a-kind combo of cilantro and oregano cooked into the mix early on in the process. We’re adding some kale this time to round out the nutrient profile. (Choose Chicken or Quinoa)
Southern Scramble – Farm fresh eggs (Morning Sun Farm, Preble, Ohio), house made turkey sausage (Amish turkey from Busch’s Country Corner, Findlay Mkt.) roasted red peppers, black beans, a dash of salsa and optional Cabot’s cheese. A mega tasty and Farm Fueled start to your day! (Choose Cheese or No Cheese)
Vanilla-Fig-Chia Muffins – Figs are loaded with minerals, fiber, and flavor, so we bake them into an almond/coconut flour based muffin (includes eggs) along with spices, vanilla bean, and chia seeds. We think you’ll dig em.
