Heating Instructions for 9/1/15

 

Chile Seared Salmon w/Cilantro Butter and Veggie Soubise – Remove cilantro butter from tin, and bake covered at 425 for 15-20 minutes. Pull from oven and top with cilantro butter. We really love this mix of savory flavors.

 

Portobello Chicken (or Amina) with Herb Roasted Veggie Medley – With lid on, bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes. For bonus size, remove lid and cover with foil. Can also be lightly heated in microwave to remove chill, then baked for less time. [Freezer friendly. Thaw completely and follow previous instructions.]

 

Nav-Ratan Korma – Bake with lid on at 425 for about 10 minutes, or heat in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. May also be microwaved in a safe container on REHEAT setting for 2-4 minutes (microwaves vary). [Freezer friendly. Thaw completely and follow previous instructions.]

 

Build Your Own Tacos – Remove lid. Sticks can be heated in skillet, oven, or microwave. Meanwhile, mix the chia dressing in with the slaw. You may use the lime wedge on the slaw or the fish. Build yourself some tacos!

 

SpinBerry Supreme – Strawberries are one of the most important foods to buy organic, ranking high on the annual Dirty Dozen list. That’s why we do what we do… you can’t simply un-know this stuff.

 

Florentine Breakfast Bake – Remove lid and bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes.

 

Blueberry-Vanilla Oatmeal – You can either heat in a sauce pan or remove lid and microwave on reheat for 2-3 min (ovens vary).

We always recommend having your salad and seafood within a couple days. Most other meals last up to 6-7 days, as we enjoy last week’s meals every time we cook this week’s meals.   

 

Never cook entrees with plastic lid on in the oven. If instructions call for an item to be covered, but you have a plastic lid, remove the lid and cover with foil.

 

Any item can be frozen, except entrees that do not require any cooking. Naturally, the texture of the vegetables may change after freezing. Use your best judgement.
