Heating Instructions for 10-6-2015 Delivery

 

Chile Seared Salmon w/Cilantro Butter and Veggie Soubise – Remove cilantro butter from tin, and bake covered at 400 for 15-20 minutes. Pull from oven and top with cilantro butter. We really love this mix of savory flavors.

 

Portobello Chicken (or Amina) with Herb Roasted Veggie Medley – Remove lid and the garlic-stick. Cover the dish with foil, then bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes. May also be lightly heated in microwave to remove chill, then baked for less time. During the final 12 minutes, set the garlic stick on top of the entree/foil. I think you’ll like my little experiment with the garlic stick this week. It’s made out of almond flour, chickpeas, NaSoya tofu, nutritional yeast, flax seeds, turmeric, and other spices. So it’s a complete protein, gluten-free, and vegan alternative to garlic bread, although the texture is much different. Anyway, I thought it would be a fun and healthy addition. I hope you enjoy it. Nav-Ratan Korma – Bake with lid on at 425 for about 10 minutes, or heat in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. May also be microwaved in a safe container on REHEAT setting for 2-4 minutes (microwaves vary). [Freezer friendly. Thaw completely and follow previous instructions.]

 

Build Your Own Tacos – Fish so fresh, the source came and cleaned them at our facility just before we cooked them. It certainly was interesting. Remove lid and tilapia, chicken, or tofu sticks. Heat the sticks separately in a skillet, oven, or microwave. Meanwhile, mix the chia dressing in with the slaw. You may use the lime wedge on the slaw or the fish. Build yourself some tacos!

Breakfast Bake – Remove lid and bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes.

Any item can be frozen, except entrees that do not require any cooking. Naturally, the texture of the vegetables may change after freezing. Use your best judgement.

We recommend eating the seafood and fresh, raw (salads, wraps, etc.) within the first few days.

Never cook entrees with plastic lid on in the oven. If instructions call for an item to be covered, but you have a plastic lid, remove the lid and cover with foil.
